Well now I had made the move I thought I'd test it at Nash on the 17th of December, we arrived and set about testing and she lasted just 10 mins before I lost the front drive due to both CV joints giving up ,after a tow back up to the burger van I joined Gary in his ultra reliable Disco . We watching Becky trying desperatley to destroy her Range Rover but unusually it was having none of it and performed better than ever before . As we drove round I saw a watery mud run and asked Gary if he wanted to give it a try, I vaguely remember saying its not that deep go on give it a go. Umm well it did give the winch a test and I am sorry for opening the door and I am sure it will dry out and then the smell will go "Honest" .
Well I drove home with diff lock engaged and over the next week repaired the damage ready for a second test.
31st December back at Nash ,again extremley wet and very muddy conditions just right for testing . I was able to drive everywhere stopping only to help Ian test his winch , ok I could not get up a wet grassy slope but we did prove that Ians winch does work.
We had heard that the water was very deep so thought we had to go and test my new snorkel and yes the water was over the wings in places and my 90 travelled through with ease at least 5 times and again Beckys V8 Range Rover was doing very well through it as well, until Becky got it wedged on her exit and needed a tow off the offending mud slope , I leapt in to rescue her pulling the stricken Range Rover free so she could have another go. As I drove out I could tell all was not well as my power was down so I pulled over.
I first thought that I may have hydrauliced the engine but on further investigation by Mark Nicholson and myself we found water had got into the fuel tank and diluted the diesel so whenever I excellerated the engine just died back to just over tick over speed.
So yet again I had to be towed off the site and Nash had won again .
I would like to thank Nick and Roy for the awesome tow off the Site. I have never before seen so much mud deposited on a Range Rover (good work Nick ). I would also like to thank Ian for towing me to Clive's house where with Clive's help we drained ,cleaned and got her working again. Hopefully it will be third time lucky .

See you all at Nash soon
