February at The Farm
Yes folks, It’s back to Llanerchindda. 15th-17th Feb 2008
There is always a warm welcome in these hillsides from the Hadley Family (Lynn and Martin with sons, Mark and Andrew) who provide the best ambiance, food and accommodation in this beautiful rural location at Cynghordy, nr Llandovery.
Set in 50 acres of Camarthenshire Countryside with spectacular views over looking the Bran Valley and the Brecon Beacons,
It's the perfect base from which to enjoy the remote empty heartland of Wales and, indeed many of the 4x4 byways including Strata Florida.
Martin & Lynn and sons always produce a superb meal for us on
both Friday and Saturday evenings – Be sure to arrive by 8pm on the Friday!
The highlight is always the traditional English puddings followed by lounging around by the open fire. It’s always a great atmosphere, and this occasion will be no exception as we have booked the entire place!
The Map Room at Llanerchindda has a huge collection of full sized OS cartography and Martin with Son Andrew are usually on hand to guide us with their expert local knowledge.
February is usually the time of year to experience the hills at their most glorious! We usually get hard frost if not SNOW! (Can't guarantee)
