I must first thank all of the members for re electing the Committee and myself, we all regard serving on our club committee as an honour and we hope we meet our duties to your satisfaction.

Looking back on last year, I was asked by a fellow member if I could recall the highest and lowest point for me as Chairman. The lowest would be last November when our family lost my youngest brother. (I realise this is not club business but, with the help from many of the members I was able to focus and carry on)

The High point is very hard to nail as I attended most events last year and each had their own special moments. I will name a few and then give the one that meant the most to me.

Wales in January. I love the Wales trips! The scenery is really spectacular and we always seem to find new and exciting lanes.
Billing in March is always very well attended and on the Sunday we decided to close the course at lunch time and a few of us (notably mostly the MAD PRICES) attempted the flooded mud run which was awesome.
Eastnor Castle was also good. A few of our juniors took their rods and fished the lake – the look on their faces as they caught was a treat!
Billing Show LRM. The show was its usual self although very wet but the drive up through the floods was amazing especially with a caravan behind.
Sibbertoft was a triumph as I believe this year was the fist year that everyone was able too complete the trial. The event that really stood out as my high point for the year would have to be Billing in September. The off roading was good but the evening around the BBQ and the following bonfire was so well attended and everyone had a good laugh over what had gone on previously. It was a great feeling to just be there.

Looking forward to this coming year we are going to get the news letter back up and running and this will ensure everyone is kept up to date, The website still remains the best way of keeping abreast of our events. If you have any photos or even want to write about an event or even your experience as a Land Rover enthusiast then bring it on!

Event wise we are looking into doing a foreign trip possibly to France. Our Billing weekends may be extended so we have them over a Bank Holiday weekend.
We will also be inviting other clubs along to our events to build up inter-club relationships.
All these ideas are being investigated and if any member feels he can help we are always open for suggestions also if you have any ideas for the calendar don't be shy .

Along with my Committee I am looking forward to an interesting year ahead.

Your Chairman Jeremy Price
