We arrived at noon on Friday, set up our camping arrangments, then set about setting up the course for Saturday then returned to the campsite where I stayed to receive everyone as they turn up, Chris, Lynn and Gary went out to set up the Sunday course.

We had our usual BBQ with a couple of well earned beverages before having an early night ready for the next day.(only joking)

We were up at a reasonable time with suitable hangovers ready to scrutinise for the day ahead, a steady flow of members arrived and were processed  ready to do the off road course, all was going well until I decided it was time to try the course. We did not last very long as we had an incident which curtailed our trip and needed a winch recovery and a trailer trip home.

Well Andy Evans can now sleep easy at night in the knowledge that his mishap at last years Sibbertoft has now been eclipsed. Unfortunately my red 90 met a tree at the bottom of the 2nd downward slope on the Riverside course that we ran on Saturday. I am gutted as I know Andy will now take every chance to repay me for the light hearted banter we have had over the last year.

I spent the rest of the weekend feeling like it was all a dream and I would soon wake up and drive my 90 home . Sadly that was a dream and we have to move on , I have decided to rescue the parts that will transfer to Nugget (my Series 2a) and the rest will be up for sale soon

Well I have now had a rethink and have just purchased another chassis and front end so I can use to get the 90 back on the road so now I have my work cut out to get it back into service
